Trips to Wainscott / Montau

The best week of our summer was when Kaden and the McGloins would come out and visit us at the beach -- Kaden and Zander would bury each other in the sand, jump off the sand cliffs and run through the waves together.  When the kids were younger, Kaden would pull them all in the radio flyer wagon and allow Z to dress him up in astronaut and police costumes (we think he must have secretly enjoyed this!).  We would pay him back by baking late night cakes and cookies together, taking out to delicious dinners thereby fulfilling his (and our) incessant gourmet food cravings - Kaden was the most fun to hang out with!  When he was a bit older we started going to Montauk - he'd stay up late with us adults and laugh as we sang by the bonfire on the beach, had dance competitions on the back deck with Zander to LCD Soundsystem, and general misbehavior.
